Mc Kibben, base athletic officer, that 14 teams had signed for the Bordeaux baseball league. The baseball com mission, heatHed by Lt. McKibben, with Lt. Walter Campbell and Mr. R. R. Boardman, regional athletic direc tor of the Y. M. C. A., will meet to morrow to arrange a schedule of games. The date set for the opening of the league series is Sunday, March 16. In the olumns of the American edition of the '"Petite Gironde" a complete schedule of the games and list of the teams entered will be published on : Friday next. The Bordeaux League will play for ; the base championship. The winner of the sectional series, automatically enters the S. O. S. final series, and the winner of this in turn, meets the champions of the First, Second, and Third Armies, for the A. E. F. title. In the S. O. S. League, Bordeaux is to have a place. This association is entirely separate from the Bordeaux or Base Two League, and is for an entirely different championship. No definite date has been set for the opening of this league series, but rumor has it that it is to follow close after the opening of the Base games. I I i W. A. A.
