ENGINEERS LEARN OF
FRENCH WAR METHODS
Captain R. L. Cochran of the coast
artillery corps addressed the meeting
of the American Sociey of Civil En
gineers held at 3 o'clock yesterday
afternoon.
He related some interesting over
seas experiences and gave the engi
neers a good conception of the French
mapping system, location of grun posi
tions, and orientation of guns.
The civil engineers will have charge
of the general Engineering Society
meeting for March 30.
