Phi Gamma Holla entertained the
mothers of (ho active members at an
Orpheum party Saturday afternoon.
Tho mothers wore the Rousts of the
chapter at dinner Sunday which was
followed by a reception in the after
noon. Those who came from out of

last Thursday evening. The toast list

Delta Delta Delta gave a party at
the Lincoln hotel Saturday evening.
The forty-five couples were chape

out-of-town guests wore Verna Jones.

Ninety-five couples attended tho En
gineers hop at Rosowildo hall, Satur
day evening. The grand march was
led by Harold Holtz and Vina Kohler.

The Palladian literary society hold a
Hallowe'en party at the judging pavil-

UNION SOCIETY
The Union literary society held a
Hallowe'en party Friday night at Rran
son's cottage, west of the penitentiary.
The cottage proved too small to ac
commodate the crowd and a large bon
fire was kindled outside. Around this
the Vnions celebrated in true Hal
lowe'en fashion. A feast of weinies,
buns, apples and marshmallows was
followed by a program of weird ghost
stories. This was the first of a series
of such outings which the society has
planned for the year.
Sigma Alpha Epsilon entertained
twenty-five couples at a house dance
Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. ltu
renoe Farrell. and Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Leadly chaperoned. E. D. Sillman of
Osceola was an out-of tow n guest.
Pi Kappa Phi entertained twelve
couples at the chapter house Friday
night at a six-course dinner followed
by dancing. Prof, and Mrs. G. W.
Hood chaperoned. Mrs. Arthur Ander
son of Genoa was a special guest.
KAPPA ALPHA THETA
PARTY AT ROSEWILDE
Kappa Alpha Theta gave one of-the
largest parties of the week when
seventy-five couples were entertained
t Rosewikle. Friday evening. The
chaperones were Mrs. Otto Sohurman
of Fremont, Mrs. C. C. Stivers. Miss
Rushnell Guild gave a house party
Saturday evening. An informal recep
tion was held and then Halloween
games were played. Mr. and Mrs. E.
S. Ripley chaperoned the thirty
couples who attended. Mr. and Mrs.
V. C. George, of Seward were special
guests.
Delta Zeta gave a Hallowe'en dance
