Now, poets may rave of the spring, And call it a season of bliss; Some praise It deserves. But It's hard on the nerves For many more reasons than this. Spring fever, to rage and torment, The fashions to follow In style; Some spoofing to do With one, perhaps two, And fussing and dances the while. In fact. I think all will be glad When the season of lovers Is past; For take It from me, Time may go happily, But for all that the pace Is too fast. &-C. Trust Act, ho may receive Informa tion on the subject by attending the Second National Conference on Mar keting and Farm Credits at tho Sher man Hotel, Chicago, April 14, 15 and 1C. Tho recent fining of a produce exchange for being in violation of tho Sherman Anti-Trust Act Is generally conceded by friends of the farmers' organizations everywhere to endanger the whole of the farmers' co-operative movement. Among other topics that will be treated at tho conference will be national legislation pending in re gard to rural credits, how to keep farmers' organizations efficient and" tho direct marketing by parcels post and express shipments. Sectional dis cussions will bo made by fruit grow ers and dairy, cheese, beef, grain and cotton producers. Such problems as these are also being studied In tho Farm Management department at the Nebraska Agricultural College. Students Make Farm Wagons. r- Students-ot-agrlcultural-onglneering. at the University Farm may learn how to make anything from a cold chisel or punch to a farm wagon. One of tho first things they are taught, If they elect such courses, is how to forge the tools they use. The re pointing of cultivator shovels, the making of chains, hooks and numer ous other articles also come within the routine. Finally, automobiles, traction engines and other heavy Im plements are overhauled and repaired. SLAZENGER-- Tennis Goods and Lee Slotted Ten nis Racquets. LAHR'S Jones' Orchestra. Phono L-9666.
