ment In tho other courses but many ad
vanced students came in late and not
until the1 present time 1ms the status
of the attendance been known. A part
of tho increase in enrollment may be
duo to the fact that thlB fall is the last,
opportunity which students will havo
to secure at the university tho old four
year course. On January 1, 1908, the
entrance requirements become one
year of college work above tho high
school course. It is not necessary,
howover, that this preparatory year
must bo spent, at this university, but
it must be in some Institution of col
legiate rank, where the prospective
student must take work in chemistry,
Gorman and animal biology.
