MENTAL IMBECILITY.
It-Is certainly too bad about somo
of these podr Buffering wrecks of hu

campus pretending to be Btudonts, but
'In reality imbibing their knowledge
like scrawny insinuating parasites!
What makes it worse Is that they twist
and curl' their pale, sickly suckers
around Into everybody's oIbo work

The Historical Society held a regu
lar quarterly meeting at 3:00 o'clock
yesterday afternoon. Tho principal
business outside of the regular routine
was the discussion of a possible site

fivo memberB with Mr. S. L. Gelstharilt
of Lincoln as chairman, waB appointed

best possible site,
Tho bill which provides for , tho
building provides nlso that the city
shall cede t6 the Boclety the block
known as Hay Market Square, or an
equally suitable plot on, which to
build. It is believed that Lincoln will
be somewhat reluctant to yield the
Hay Market block, as this la at pres
ent in great demand, by the railroad
conipnuietf. It. is tUqught that thp citj
will, however, readily assent to giving
any suitable plot of ground besides
this, in which ense the Historical So
ciety may receive even a more desir
able location than, the one suggested.
. Among those present ut the meeting
yesterday were President Geo. L. Mil
