At Wisconsin the short-course Agri cultural Debating society and the Dairy School Debntlng sch lety are holding a series of debates on practical ques tions pertaining to tho work in those departments. For conducting the debates in the Columbia-Cornell-Pennsylvania league. Prnnnylvanla hab suggested that all the debates be held on the same date and on the same question, each Univer sity having two teams. At Iowa a board, similar to Nebras ! a'n has been appointed by the Uni .eiTity sennte to manage the inter collegiate debates and oratorical con tests. It is composed of the professor of public speaking and four other pro-fc:-sois and two bludents. For the Kansas-Missouri debate the justification of the Fifteenth Amend ment will be debated.
