A. E. Munn of the Lincoln high
school will have charge of the physics
storeroom next semester. Mr. Munn
Is a senior at the high school and
played on the football team last fall.
Last Saturday Dr. Galloway, chief
of the bureau of plant industry in the
United States Department of Agricul
ture, spent the day with Dr. Bessey,
and the other botanists of the Uni
versity. He spoke In the highest
terms of the many graduates of the
UnfveiBlty who are In his bureau.
Thomas Johnson has been appoint
ed to fill the vacancy on tho Junior de
bating team caused by the withdrawal
of John Tobln. Mr. Tobin had to be
taken off on account of having been an
alternate on an inter-state team. Mr,
Johnson is an able debater and will
fill the place with credit. Tho team
is now composed of B. R. Buckner,
Burdette Lewis, Thomas JohnBon and
C. n. Sargent.
