The athletic board election passed jff very quietly last Wednesday, yet five good men were elected Owing to the very Inclement weather the "stay at home vote" was very large. But 192 votes, thtee of which were thrown out, were cast at the polls. The election this year was character ized by far Icsb activity than was man ifested at and before last year's con test. This no doubt accounts in part for the decreased vote. After the votes had been counted the following men were declared elect ed: Tobln, Ringer, K..odes, Hewitt and Bender. All these men are compe tent to fill the positions to which they have been elected, with credit to them selves and the university All of them ave been very active in athletics. Three of them, To.n, Ringer and Ben der, are football players with enviable rctords, while Rhodes has won distinc tion In baseball. Bender too, is one of the strongest men on the baseball team. Hewitt, while not taking active part In either of these sports, has always been and active and entnus astlc worker in track athletics where he now ranks among the leaders. With such a repre sentative athletic board there is every reason to feel that the athletic inter ests will be well cared for. The vote for the successful candidates was as follows: Tobln . . . .101 Ringer 127 Rhodes 125 Hewitt Ill) Bender 117 NOTICE OF INCORPORATION.
