Be More Careful.
Some person or persons have
been careless or negligent in the ,
care . of themselves in not properly
: guarding against the spread of
scarlet fever.
Every article of clothing should
be thoroughly renovated and the
hair cleansed before leavingquar ! -

precaution as here and there the
disease has broken ] out , traceable

been in the presence of those tak
tak-
ing the fever. . I
You cannot be too t careful in I
renovating. Some one's life , is I
placed in jeopardy because of a I
criminal negligence or ignorance.
Few people know much about
scarlet fever and hov / to treat it.
It has been more serious here than
smallpox or any other epidemic.
If there is danger then let the 'ex-
J
t
posed be thoroughly cleansed be -
fore venturing among people with-
out restraint and under the moral
conviction that they are to be held
accountable to the . public for fail
ure in their duty should any evil
result from their negligence.
We believe the negligence has
been the result of not knowing
what to do or how to guard against
the spreading of it as it is not a
common disease and few people
know much about , but let's be
careful now.
