been careless or negligent in the ,

Every article of clothing should
be thoroughly renovated and the

You cannot be too t careful in I
renovating. Some one's life , is I
placed in jeopardy because of a I
criminal negligence or ignorance.
Few people know much about
scarlet fever and hov / to treat it.
It has been more serious here than
smallpox or any other epidemic.
If there is danger then let the 'ex-

posed be thoroughly cleansed be -
fore venturing among people with-
out restraint and under the moral
conviction that they are to be held
accountable to the . public for fail
ure in their duty should any evil
result from their negligence.
We believe the negligence has
been the result of not knowing
what to do or how to guard against
the spreading of it as it is not a
common disease and few people
know much about , but let's be
careful now.
. J. E. Brown was ' called before ,
the insanity board Monday on the
charge of being * a 'dipsomaniac in
the excessive use ' of morphine and
cocaine and he was taken to the
Nebraska hospital for the insane
at Lincoln Monday night . to be
cured of the morphine habit. Most
people know him better as "One
-
Arm" Brown. He formed the
habit at the tinm his right arm
was taken off he. says and of late
was getting to be a slave to the
drug. " ;
