The commissioners designated a
new precinct in Cherry county to
be known as Russell precinct and
comprising the following territory
to-wit : Commencing at the north ?
east corner qf section , i , tp. 30 ,
r. 38 , running thence west to the
northwest corner of sec. 6 , tp. 30 ,
r. 40 , thence south to the south-
west'corner of sec. 31 , tp. 28 , r.
40 , thence east to the southeast
corner of sec. 30 , tp. 28 , r. 38 ,
thence north to the point of be
ginning , all the territory included
in the above described meets and
bounds being the territory desig
nated as said Kussell precinct , and
the voting place in said precinct
designated at the Hewett & Morey
ranch , said precinct being granted
as per the petition of Wra. Enlow
et al.

Fred Beel and bride have now
taken up their abode hero in this
green meadow country.
We were all greatly shocked by
the s-ad echoing of the telephone
bearing the news of Mrs. Fair-
child's suicide.
We miss Miss Anna Newman
from our midst , she having the
care of her little sick brother at a
southern hospital.
Mrs. Cook's school is nearly
finished and has been a glorious
success. She H certainly re
nowned as a teacher and orator.
