The occasion of the meeting of the National Buiter Maker's Asso ciation , Chicago , February 9fch to 2oth , is to be accompanied with an interesting dairy show at the big Coliseum. The show will include exhibits of dairy machiaery and dairy products of every description. Everybody in the west is interest ed in this industry , either directly or indirectly. Steele went to Merriman Saturday. Chas. Oaks was seen on Bear Creek Friday. We had quite a snow storm Fri day morning. S. G. Oaks went to Merriman Wednesday night. Mrs. Nead visited at James Law- eries' several days last week. James Lawerie and family spent Sunday evening at Win. Neads. This has been a good winter on cattle and most of them are looking well. Chas. Nichols has built a new barn and is n'ow building a new house. Julia Steele spent Saturday and Sunday at the home of her teacher , Miss Mary Jerman. ; Miss Belle Johnson returned 'to her home near Eli , Feb. 5. She had been working at Chadron. Miss Lulu Kortz visited the school in district No. 75 Monday of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Eobinson also visited the school that day.
