MARY NIDAY Mrs. Mary Niday, daughter of William H. and Harriet F. Sut ton, was born in Ohio Sept. 28, 1866, and died Dec. 14, in Tur lock, Calif., at the age of 96. The William H. Sutton family came to Nebraska in 1878, locat- "l .ai "ThS thm S,, ents resided throughout their life. Mary Sutton was united In marriage to Oliver W. Niday In 1882, in Kenosha, and resided m Cass County, until 1914, when they moved to Turlock, Calif. Mrs. Niday was a member of the United Brethren Church of Turlock. Her husband, Oliver, preceded her in death in 1935 In Turlock. A daughter, Mrs. Marie Graves, also preceded the mother In death in 1924 In Peru, Neb. j Survivors are four sons, Ray mond Niday Sr. of Tulare, Calif. Orlander Niday of Hayward Calif., George Niday of Albany, Calif., and Oklan of Sacramento, Calif., and a daughter, Mrs. I Lena Graves of Peru, 22 grand children, 56 great-grandchildren, and 14 great - great grandchil dren. Funeral services for Mrs. Niday were held at Allen Mort uary. Burial was in Turlock Cemetery, beside her husband. Obituary Mary Frady Quail Mary Alice Quail, daughter of James Riley and Virgie Lloyd Frady, was born Aug. 13, 1900 In Plattsmouth. She died Nov. 22 in Los Angeles, Calif. She had been in failing health for the past three years and was unable to work the past three months. She was cremated in Los An- geles' at the Chapel of the Pines and her remains sent here and placed beside her mother in Oakhill Cemetery Jan. 5. She had been in the photo finishing business for some 40 years and at the time of her death was employed with the Flash Photo Company of Los Angeles where she worked for 16 years.
