Mrs. Bob McGregor and chil dren of Omaha and Mrs. Scott McGrew, Sr., and grandson, Scotty McGrew enjoyed a pic nic and swimming at the State Lakes Tuesday. Mrs. Carl Melsinger was a Friday afternoon caller of Mrs. Louise Meisinger in Platts mouth. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wildrick and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wild rick were Saturday evening call ers of Mrs. Fred Wildrick in Weeping Water. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Riley and children have moved from Springfield to 507 Cherry Street in Louisville. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Schmader and Maxine of Omaha were re cent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schmader. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frede rickson, Susan and Tommy are vacationing in Colorado. Mrs. Joe Habel, Jeanine and Jeffrey of Louisville and Mrs. Laura Stovall of Elmwood at tended a birthday party pic nic dinner at Pioneer Park in Lincoln honoring George Stov all's birthday. Mrs. Daisy McNealy returned home Saturday after spending several days last week with her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh McNealy in Omaha. group attended the Parks family reunion at the Legion Hall, the Fourth. Fif y-two were present for the picnic dinner at noon. Mrs. Harm Slote of Hickman spent last week with her daugh ter, Mrs. Elton Erickson. Mr. Erickson and family. They were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Drake in Lincoln. Mrs. Slote returned to her home from there. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Armstrong took their daughter Mrs. Harold Shaw and sons for a drive through the Mead Ordnance plant area Monday. This was the first Mrs. Shaw had been there for over twenty years. They drove through the part where they and their neighbors had lived, none of the homes or other buildings were there but many trees were left, that could show the location of homes, schools and the old Plalnview Church. Later they visited Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hanson, near Wahoo. The Hanson's and Armstrong's were neighbors in the plant area. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Nissen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bundy went to Ayr Sun day and had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Strasburg. The little Nissen boys Scott and Aaron re turned home with them after., a two weeks stay with their aunt Mrs. Strasburg. Randy Storys of Omaha is spending this week with the Nissen boys. Mrs. Howard Shaw, Ivan and Lloyal called at the Luther Wag ner and C. M. Foust homes Mon day evening. Ezra Neben, who is just home from Temple City, Calif., was a Friday afternoon visitor at the Ashley Boiler home. Mrs. Ray Bower accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bower, Jennie Sue and Matthew of Lincoln, to Elsie Monday where they visited overnight and Tuesday at the Dwight Jamison home. They re turned home Tuesdny evening. Thursday evening visitors at the Ray Bower homo were Mr. and Mrs. Orvllle Hightshoe and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stickney John and Scott. Klmberly and Kevin Pollard spent Sunday overnight with their grandpar ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bower. Mrs. Roy Keller fell while working in the garden Monday morning, breaking an ankle in two 'places.
