Sunday they visit ed with Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Koe nig and family at Crete. Gene and Paul Kirchhoff were Monday guests of Tommy Kas sube. Steven Fleming of Paplllion visited for a week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyal Fleming. Mrs. Edward Van Horn and Carol visited on Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nic kels and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Upton. Mr. and Mrs. Vern Harter and John enjoyed a week's vacation at the Lake of the Ozarks. Ray Jameson stayed with Mrs. J. M. Ranney Sunday afternoon while Margaret Ranney attend ed the open house of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Wood. The Boy Scouts of Troop 220 have been wprking at their camp on the Walter Patton farm for several days. They con structed a culvert and bridge. The boys will hold a camping week at this site beginning July 15. Ronald Patterson spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ed win Sterling in Lincoln. Captain and Mrs. William Van Every and Penny of Rome, New York, Mrs. Ed Freeman, Mrs. De Forest Philpot and Mrs. Bert Phllpot were Monday evening guests of Mrs. Adam Cook. The Van Every's showed pictures taken while they were overseas. Mrs. Cook served refreshments at the close of the evening. Mrs. W. D. Lenker of Oakdale, Calif., spent a few days visit ing with Mrs. Elvira Bussell and Miss Maude Moulton and other friends in Weeping Water. She had been to Hazelton, Kansas and attended the ordination of her son-in-law, Rev. John Ster ling. John graduated from the Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma and is serving a church in Kansas.
