Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Wildrick and Mrs. Frank Wildrick went to Omaha Tuesday evening and brought Frank home from the Methodist Hospital where he had been for the past two weeks. He underwent major surgery on Friday, May 25. Mrs. Hazel Deering of Phoenix and Harry Fogie and daughter of Scottsdale Ariz., Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Keckler, son Robert and granddkughter- pf Weeping Water were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Greene Sunday. Gary Clements spent a few days at his parents home, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Clements, while his sister, Dr. Betty Clements, was here from Phoenix. She will return there next Wednesday. Gary has been at the YMCA Camp at Ely, Minn., and was re cently promoted to counselor at the camp. Richard Engles informs us that he has rented the house north of the old school building just for the summer to a man and his family while he works for a construction company. Sylvia Steiner and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Cheney all visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs Edmund Steiner" last week. The former will teach music at Belle vue, having 450 pupils in the 7th grade. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Steiner and Mrs. Wayne Cheney attend ed the funeral of Mrs. Oestman at Johnson June 10. Mrs. Glenn Nicklas and sons of Curtis visited several days re cently with her sister, Mrs. Helen Schneider and cousins Daisy Moore and Ethel Atchi son. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Clem ents were their son and family, the Arthur Clements family of Kansas City, Kan. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Westfal) and children, Larry, Joan Marjie and William of Burwell spent a week's vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M Schomaker. Dodson, has been announced by Mrs. Dodson. Miss Dodson is engaged to Willis Knake of Omaha, son ; of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knake of Avoca. Ray Hansons Back From Trip West ELMWOOD (Special) Mr and Mrs. Ray Hanson returned recently from an extended trip which included the World's Fair in Seattle. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Linder at Love land, Colo., and the Mark Borne meier family at Greeley. At Portland they visited the Allen Richert family. At Seattle, they visited the Milo Frisbee family and were entertained in their home. They also saw the Eldon Stark family. Returning home they came through Mt. Rainer National Park, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone Park, Devils Tower Park in Wyoming and the Black Hills. Sondra Taylor Wed To George Plunkett WEEPING WATER (Special) The First Christian Church in Weeping Water was the scene of the wedding of Miss Sondra Tay lor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Taylor of Council Bluffs Iowa, and George Plunkett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eanos Plunkett of Weeping Water. Rev. Victor Schwarz, pastor of the church officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose for her wed ding a floor length gown of white net" over taffeta complete, with finger-tip veil. Her corsage was of pink and white carnations. Patricia Taylor, sister of the bride, of Council Bluffs, was the Maid of Honor. Carol and Eileen Taylor, sisters of the bride lighted the tapers. Best man was Frederick Tay lor, brother of the bride. Mrs. Maurice Hammons played the wedding music on the organ. Following the ceremony, a re ception was held for the guests at a cafe. Mr. and Mrs. Plunkett are making their home in Weeping Water after a honeymoon of a week. Mr. Plunkett is employed in Manley. Engagement WEEPING WATER (Special) Mr. and Mrs. Paul Moore ol Weeping Water announce the en gagement of their daughter Sharon, to Calvin Workman, sen of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Workman of Elmwood. No date has been set for the wedding. Cary A. Marshall Accountants Choice Cary A. Marshall, former Plattsmouth resident, has been elected president of the Los An geles Chapter of the National Association of Accountants. The organization has 1,500 members made up of accountants, con trollers and treasurers of differ ent companies. Marshall lived in Plattsmouth all his life, graduating from Plattsmouth High School in 1942. He attended the University of Nebraska until he was called into the service. After his discharge, he at tended the University of South ern California where he re ceived his degree in business ad ministration. He is a certified public accountant, currently treasurer and on the board of directors of . Van de Kamp's Holland Dutch Bakers Inc. in Los Angeles. He is also a past director of the Los Angeles Junior Cham ber of Commerce, a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma and Beta Alpha Psi, busi ness and honorary fraternities. He is active in the local PTA, the cub scouting program and the YMCA baseball program. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall, the former Geraldine White, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Stewart were with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Wessel, Lee and Emmett near Palmyra Sunday for dinner and all attended a show at Lincoln in the afternoon, celebrating Mrs. Lee Stewart's birthday. Charles Rosenow went to the Bryan Memorial Hospital the last of the week for observation, tests and treatment. He had been at the home of his daugh ter, Mrs. Esther Clark, the past week. Mrs. Clark is staying at the home of her son and wile, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lee Clark, this week at Lincoln to be near her father. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Morga ridge and family of Lincoln and Will Coatman of Elmwood were at the Martin Zoz home Sunday, Mike Zoz, son of Mr. and Mrs Martin Zoz, was a passenger in a car accident near Lincoln the last of May and had the band ages removed from his face this week. He had eighty stitches in his nose and face. He was a senior at the M u r d o c k High School, the accident happened the night before graduation. Mrs. Alpha Quellhorst of Mur dock and Mrs. Ralph Uhley of Louisville visited Mrs. Grace Copple Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kyrol and i Raymond Dale have moved from Louisville to the farm homo, ! one and a quarter miles south of AIvo. He is employed at West ern Electric near Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Doc Leming and family of Ashland visited Mr. Leinings mother, Mis. Hornit'ce Leming, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Leaver, Luann and Mitchcl visited at the Wilson Howe homo Sunday evening. The Leavers live near Ashland. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kunz, Mrs. Ruth Stewart and Linda Bohman of Martell, Mrs. Ruth Stewarts granddaughter were at Lee Stewart's Saturday evening.
