Boot and Spur The Boot and Spur 4-H Club met May 12 at the heme of Mrs. Wayne Meisinger. Meeting was called to order by President, Harry Spangler. Roll call was answered with "Parts of a Horse." Members discussed "Un soundness and Blemishes of a Horse." Mrs. Meisinger showed some slides of horses and members discussed their postures for showing. The following demonstrations were given: "Bill Spangler Grooming a Horse"; Janet Mor gan, "Gaits"; Terry Custer, "Safety Precautions." Plans were made for a Trail ride and judging next meeting. TV Sets Stolen Robert McDonald of Avoca re ported to the Sheriff's Office loss of two portable TV sets dur ing his closing out .sale. The hog population of the world, which was down a little in I960, reached a new high of 483 million head in January 1902. This represented a 40 per cent increase over the 1051-55 average.
