The Rev. O. W. Matzke offici ated. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Pan.ska of Mur dock, Mrs. Verena Stewart of Lincoln, and the late Marvin Stewart. Baskets of white mums, can delabra and an all-blue Christ mas tree made the setting for the candlelight service. Mrs. Reuben Stock sang, ac companied by Mrs. Warren Rikli at the Organ. Given in marriage by her fa ther, the bride chose taffeta for her gown in traditional white. A slashed sabrina neckline featur ing finbrwidered medallion ap plique contoured the fitted, wrist sleeved empire basque. A wide midriff repeated occasion al embroidery applique while the voluminous floor , length skirt showed a redihgote pleat center front sweeping to wide fan pleated fullness at the back. Her veil of illusion was held to her head by a crown of tiny pearls. The bouquet was of white carnations with a tinted royal blue center. Judy Pan.ska of Murdock, sis ter of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmatron was Mrs. Ronald Ritenour of Lincoln, sis ter of the bridegroom. They were dressed identically in full skirt ed royal blue taffeta frocks, ac cented with white fur headbands and white fur muffs decorated with blue tinted carnations. Dressed identically to the bridesmaids was Beth Ann Keu hn, of Columbia, Mo., cousin of the bride, who was flowergirl. Ringbearer was Gary Rikli of Murdock. Lighting the tapers were Sondra Smith of Lincoln and Laurel Bornemeier of Omaha. They wore cotillion blue frocks styled identically to those of the bridesmaids, accented with white fur headbands and wrist cors ages. Serving as best man, was Cameroon Stewart of Western, Tractor Savers Have Party, Re-Org lanize Tractor Savers 4-H Club held their first meeting of the new club year at the home of Jim Ingwerson's on Dec. 28, at 8 p.m. The following officers were chosen: president, Jim Ingwer son; vice president, Jim Bierl; secretary, Ted Wehrbein, and re porter, Steve Wehrbein. Nine members were present. Finding new members will be the responsibility of each mem ber. Lyle Sparks will be the leader and Weldon Stoehr, assistant leader. Type of books for use, have not yet been decided on. Filling out of year books and plans will be dene by the officers and Junior Leaders on a meeting Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. at the home of Lyle Sparks. Ethel Huenefeld of Aurora was seated at the guest book. Ardyth Oehlerking, LeMars, Iowa, Lin da Rase, Ramona Streich, and Rosalyn Miller, all of Lincoln, were in charge of the gifts. Mrs. Cameron Stewart of Western, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, cut the wedding cake. . For her going-away outfit the bride chose a two piece blue wool dress with black accessories. The couple lives at 2025 South 18th St., Lincoln. The bride is a senior at Lincoln General School of Nursing. The bridegroom is a senior in the University of Ne braska College of Business Administration. Mrs. Melvin Mil ler told of attending a pageant "Our Christmas" put on by the Sunday School at Christ Church where their son Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller attend. Mrs. Flei schman closed by reading a New Year prayer. One visitor was pre sent, Mrs. Burris who is a neigh bor of Mrs. Fleischman. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hill re turned from a three weeks trip to Provo, Utah, where they went by train to visit their son and family, the Robert Hill's family. Mrs. Ella Fisher who had made her home at the Ebeler Nursing Home for several years, passed away last week at the age of 81 years. Her home formerly was in Eagle. Burial was at Elmwood on Saturday, Dec. 30, 1961. The Eastern Star Kensington met at the home of Mrs. Ray Parsell, Dec. 12 to observe their annual Christmas luncheon and revealing secret sisters. Mrs. Patton and Mrs. Hansen were guests. 24 attended in spite of the weather. Mrs. Harry Lannin was elected president, Mrs. Par-sell-Vice Pres.; Miss Loraine Jeffers - Secty. - Treas. At the business meeting Mrs. Parsell re viewed last years accomplish ments. Next meeting at the temple the 2nd We. in Jan. Robert Lannin of Wichita, Kansas is spending the Holidays at the family home. Mrs. Lillie Box moved Thurs day from the farm to her new home in Elmwood. Quite a crew of neighbors helped her. Her daughter and husband. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Buskirk of Louisville kept her company sev eral nights in her new home. Thursday was also moving day for the H. L. Oldfleld family. They too had a new home to move into. It is near to the new school building so will be very convenienti for Michelle and Michiel to attend school. Guests for dinner at the Her old Krecklow home last Thurs day were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wiles Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Krecklow. Guests for New Year eve were Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Pratt and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Schleifert as has been their custom for years. Three of the Irons children were home for a belated Christ mas Day on Wednesday. They were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Irons, and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Nor man Irons and Bernita Hoffman and children. The Francis Seiker family spent Christmas at Benedict vis iting her mother, Mrs. Larklns. P vV'-y . , Auburn Saturday for Mr. Engles, father of Dick Engles of Elm wood. His death was caused by a heart attack. After a 10 day stay in the hos pital, Mrs. Minnie Stege was brought home Sunday. She had fallen in her home and was very badly bruised. She was able to get Carol Fischer to stay with her and care for her. Mrs. Noel Tyson aLs0 was a guest at the F. W.
