Mrs. Hogan is the former Bonnie Hinebaugh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Denny Hinebaugh of Lincoln, formerly of Eagle. Mrs. Bettie Underwood visited last weekend, at the home of her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Pruessing at Lincoln. - Several Eagle friends attended the funeral services for Mrs. Wm. Trunkenbolz at Lincoln, last Wednesday afternoon at Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. John Fischer, Mrs. Edward Porter and Mrs. Clinton Westlake attended the funeral services for Mrs. Mary Williams at Elmwood Methodist Church last Thursday afternoon. Kathy Einfeldt was an over nite guest at the home of Miss Carole Packard at Lincoln last Saturday evening. Mrs. Ray Reynoldson and Mrs. John Fischer represented the Eagle WSCS at the Elmwood Women's Society of Christian Service meeting last Friday aft ernoon at the Elmwood Meth odist Church. Three members from the Alvo WSCS were also present. The ladles enjoyed at tending the meeting very much. The many accomplishments of the host Society was observed by the guests, resulting from the efficient leadership and cooper ation of all members, was evi dent. Airman Gary Bowns is enjoy ing a several days leave with his wife and two children, residing at her mothers, Mrs. Fern Mack and two sons. The airman has been stationed at Grand Forks, North Dakota Air Base since his transfer from the Lincoln Air Base last year. Nov. 25, a family get-together and birthday dinner honored Mrs. Julia Palln at Lincoln on her 80th birthday. The names of Alton Miller, her brother-in-law, and his daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wendt, of Elmwood were not printed previ ously. Mr. and Mrs. Oris Lanning ex pected the arrival of their son, Gail, Monday on furlough after boot training at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, Chicago. After leave, he will go to North Carolina for further training. He is a graduate of Eagle schools and Milford Technical School and later worked as a diesel mechanic at Onomowoc, Wis. Mrs. Ruth Burks is giving a subscription to The Journal to hep daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hempke and family at Sidney. They are former Eagle and Murdock resi dents. Mr. and Mrs. John Ronhovde and family visited at Auburn Sunday and attended The Mes siah, presented by Peru State College chorus. Beverly Ron hovde is a chorus member.
