Mr. and Mrs. Murdoch, Mrs. Maude Philpot joined a family group recently for dinner at the Ted Brannon home near Union. 1 Evelyn Wolph and Mrs. Jake Stapert attended the annual 4-H county council and all day meeting Wednesday. Mrs. Maurlhe Wolph of Lin coln stopped Friday morning at the home of Miss Evelyn Wolph. She stopped enroute to Clarinda, Iowa where she planned to spend some time with the Gene Maier family. Correction: Mr. and Mrs. Mar tin Ross and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rough attended the funeral of Luth?r Howard and not How ard Raymond as stated before. Mr. Howard was a resident of Raymond, Nebr. The services were held in Lincoln. Mrs. How ard is a cousin of Mrs. Ross and Arthur Rough. Marion Ross and Lois Hansen, cousins, celebrated their birth days together Thursday with a dinner at the Hansen home. Lois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Hansen was 8 years old December 7. The Sunday school classes of the Methodist church will give their Christmas program on Sunday evening, December 17 at 7 p.m. at the church. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Brandt, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Nolte will participate In the pro gram Dec. 24 at the North Branch Lutheran Church. A new educational building will be ded icated at North Branch on Dec ember 17. Mark Nutzman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Deane Nutzman was three years old Sunday, December 10. His birthday dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Garrison, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Hoback and family, Union: The Ned Nutz man family, Henry Ross, Mrs, Emma Nutzman and Mildred. Arnold O'Connor, Lincoln, was a guest Sunday of the Clifford O'Connors. Mrs. O'Connor vis ited her grandmother, Mrs. Lydia Midkiff of Union, who has been ill. Roger Stone, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stone was 7 years old Saturday. Johnny Tanner stayed with Mrs. Sheldon Mitchell when his mother went to Omaha Thursday for a check up.
