The business meeting was con ducted by Mrs. Earl Hrabik, president. The program was given by Mrs. James Johnson assisted by Mrs. Bill Wegener, Mrs. Ead Hrabik, and Mrs. Earl Beck. Lunch was served at the close of the meeting by Mrs. Wil liam Wegener. Immanuel Lutheran LOUISVILLE (Special) The Immanuel Lutheran Ladles Aid met July 6. Pastor Vogel opened the meeting with the members singing 'How Thank We All Our God." Rev. Vogel discussed the theme, 'A Heart Reaches Out and Loves." The business meeting was opened by the president, Mrs. Frank Koterzina. Mrs. August Wendt read the secretary's re port. Pastor Vogel continued the discussion of the newly proposed constitution of the LWML. The meeting was adjourned by all re peating the Lord's prayer. Host esses were Mrs. Verle Vogler and Mrs. T. H. MORE MORE MORE MORE . . Antqlope Permits Dwindling LINCOLN About 250 antelope permits for this fall's hunting season remain to be taken, an nounced the Nebraska Game Commission today. The North Sioux Unit is closed, the Box Butte Unit is over half filled, and the Banner unit has about one-third of its permits taken. Some 800 pronghorn per mits were authorized in all for the three-day season, September 16 through 18. Deer hunters are slow to se lect theh- units, with applications behind last year's pace. The Blue Unit in southeastern Ne braska, closed to firearm hunt ing until this year, is about 78 per cent filled. The Wahoo Unit, between the Blue and the Platte River, is also 78 per cent taken. Deer firearm hunting starts in late October this year, run ning from the 28th through No vember 1. The entire state is open, but divided into 17 man agement units. A hunter cannot cross unit lines. Applications for the 14,000 deer firearm and remaining an telope permits can be obtained from conservation officers, county clerks, Game Commis sion district offices in North Platte, Alliance, Norfolk, Bas sett, and Lincoln, and some per mit vendors Bow hunting, one of the most generous seasons in the nation, runs from September 16 through December 31, exclusive of fire arm season. New Pastor Arrives LOUISVILLE Special) Rev and Mrs. William Halstead of Bloomfield, Iowa arrived Satur day and will serve as pastor cf the Louisville Methodist church for the next three Sundays, while Rev. and Mrs. William McCord and children are on vacation. The Rev. McCords are visiting their mothers, Mrs. L. S. Mc Cord and Mrs. F. A- Ramsey in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Rev. Halstead was pastor of the Methodist church in Louis ville from 1947 until 1954.
