The meeting was opened by the group singing "The Extension Club Song" led by Mrs. Panska. Fifteen members were pres ent, as were three gue.sts, Mrs. Terry Hannenman, Mrs. Ken neth Hauschild and Mrs. Lin vale Meyer. After a business meeting, the guests judged the Easter Hats the members had made. Prizes were given to Mrs. Earl Puis, the most original hat; Mrs. George Meyer, the funniest hat and Mis. Elwin Isaac. The mem bers enjoyed the discussion and demonstration given by Mrs. La Verne Meisinger and Mrs. Earl Puis on "Line and Design." The club prize was won by Mrs. Earl Puis. Mrs. Hallie Mills, reporter. Son Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Pfeiffer, Jr., of Bellevue are parents of a 6 lbs. 12 oz. son born March 25, at Clarkson Hospital, Oma ha. He has been named David James. Grandparents are Mrs. Edith Haase and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Pfeiffer, Sr., of Ne braska City. Mrs. Pfeiffer is the former Alice Haase. The couple has one other child, Sheryl Ann. Twin Sons Airman and Mrs. James C. Pedersen are the parents of twins sons born March 23 at Of futt Air Force Base Hospital. Miner C. was born at 6:56, weighing 5 lbs 6 oz. and James C. was born at 6:59 weighing 5 lbs. 3 oz. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Pierce and Mr. and Mrs. Miner C. Pedersen, all of Massachusetts. Daughter Staff Sergeant and Mrs. Tom Johnston are parents of a 6 lbs 11 oz. daughter, Tammy Rae, born March 16 at Offutt Air Force Base Hospital. Red Skelton, comedian "The reason you can't take it with you is that it goes before you do." Baskets of white pom poms, carnations, and gladiolas decora ted the chancel for the marriage of Miss Anne Garst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald B. Garst of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Larry Molck, son of Mrs. William Molck, of Plattsmouth, Satur day evening, March 18th at the First Baptist Church in Co. Bluffs, la. The Rev. Dr. Alan R. Knight officiated at the candle light double ring ceremony. Miss Joyce Banks of Council Bluffs was vocalist accompanied at the organ by Miss Joyce Myn ster. Candlelighters for the service were Mr. Gary Yopp of Council Bluffs and Steven Molck, brother of the groom. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose for her wed ding a gown of bouquet taffeta and Alencon lace styled with princess lines and long fitted sleeves. Alencon lace sprinkled with seed pearls framed the soft portrait neckline and continued down the front of the bodice. From the waistline, the lines that, floated back to a magnifi- cant cathedral train. The bride's elbow-length silk illusion veil was held by a half crown of in terwoven nylon and pearls. She carried an orchid with stephona- tis on a white Bible. Her only jewelry was a single strand of pearls. Maid of honor was Karen Has selquist and bridesmaid was Bonnie Tennant. The attendants wore identical sheath dresses of royal blue bridal taffeta, featur ing scoop necklines and over-; skirts poufed out to hip length' in front and extending almost! to the hemline in the back. Jani Garst served her sister as jun-; ior bridesmaid and was attired in a similar blue taffeta dress! made for her by the bride. Alii three attendants wore match-j ing headpieces and carried nose-; gays of blue and white carna- tions. Carol Yopp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Yopp of Council Bluffs was flower girl and ring bearer was Blaine Garst, broth er of the bride. Paul Molck of Omaha was best man for his brother and grooms men were Allen Fairfield and Sid Moe, both of Omaha. Ushers were Wayne Molck, brother of the groom, Don Groesser of Weeping Water, and Charles and Roger Stroud both of Glen wood, Iowa. For her daughters wedding, Mrs. Garst chose a light cocoa brown sheath dress with match ing jacket. Her accessories were dark brown and powder blue and she wore a corsage of blue carnations. The groom's moth er wore a silk print with black and white accessories and a cor sage of pink carnations. A reception was held In the church parlors following the ceremony. A four tiered wedding cake centered a lace covered table, flanked on each side by blue tapered candles. Mrs. Le land Smith cut the cake while Mrs, Carroll Settell and Miss Phyllis Bird poured the coffee and. .punch. Miss Joyce Emerick presided at the guest book and in charge of the gift table were Miss Kathy Murphy and Mrs. Edwin Emerick assisted by Vicki Molck. After a short wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Molck will be at home at the Mid-City Trailer Court, 901 No. 37th St. in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Capital Punishment? A round table discussion on Capital Punishment was aired over KOLN-TV, Lincoln, at 12:30 Sunday afternoon. Taking part in the discussion were Attorney Chancy Barne, President of the Nebraska Bar Association, Maurice Sigler, Warden of the State Penitenti ary and Cass County Sheriff Tom Solomon. The business meeting was adjourned with de votions by Mrs. John Group. Mrs. Roy Beins and Mrs. Boy ne Parsons gave the lesson "Line and Design." Our hostess, Mrs. Petereit, served a delicious lunch, assisted by her daughter, Mrs. Don Steppat, who was a guest. Next meeting will be on April 20 at the home of Mrs. Robert Schneider. The meeting opened with the group singing "We Prepare For Tomorrow" and reciting the club creed. A poem was read by Esther Tlustos. Olga Schliefert and Lettie Stohlmann were guests. Fifteeen members ans wered roll call. It was voted to give $2 to the Easter Seal Drive. An Informa tive lesson "Line and Design" was given by Esther Gabel and Edna Meisinger. After several games of bingo lunch was served ' by Verla Schliefert and Rowena Gaebel, co-hostess. Next meeting will be April 19 with Albertlna Vogler.
