Mr. and Mrs. William Mutter and family left for their home on Friday after spending the holidays at the Murray Mut ter and Walter Anderson homes. Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Laurlt zen, Kenneth and Alice spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Agnes Olsen at Rest Haven. Alice Lauritzen entertained at a slumber party on Wednesday evening. The girls attended a show In the evening and then came back to the Lauritzen home for pizza and refresh ments. They stayed until after breakfast Thursday morning. The girls at the party were Ca thy Callahan, Janice Holt, Judy Sheehan, Bonnie Noble, Kathy Keplinger, Kay Clark, Jerl Mich elsen and Marylulse Stubben dick. Raymond Jensen, Robert and Richard Anderson spent Thurs day evening with Kenneth Laur itzen. Larry Fadken of Court land spent Saturday evening until Sunday afternoon with Ken neth. Lane and Mr. and Mrs. Burton Eidenmil- ton, were dinner guests, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Oberle and family on Christmas Day. Mrs. Bertha Crandell, of Lin coln, Nebr. visited several days at the home of her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fleishman and other relatives during the Holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kreck- low of Manley, Nebr., were din ner guests, at the home of her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Fleishman last Sunday. Mrs. Bertha Crandell, of Lincoln, sister of Mines Fleishman and Krecklow was also a guest and returned to Lincoln during the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kinney, who have been farming near Alvo, Nebraska, moved to the Lorenz Halvorsen farm on last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Reynoldson have been enjoying a trip and visit with their son, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reynoldson and family in California during the Christmas and New Years Holi days. Mrs. John Rockenbach Is re covering satisfactorily after hav ing been hospitalized for a heart condition a few weeks ago. Mrs. Laura West took her son Sumner of San Mateo, Calif ornia, to the train at Lincoln, Wednesday morning and after arriving in Omaha will board the plane for his home. Scheduled to arrive home at 7:30 p.m. He enjoyed a several days visit at his mother's home. Mrs. West was a guest of Mrs. Harry West at the Grace Methodist, W.S.C.S. meeting on Wednesday after noon at Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Relss Nielsen of Carroll, Iowa and Mrs. Harold Butterfleld and son Calvin, of Lincoln, Nebr. spent last Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George McCald. Mr. and Mrs. George McCoid and sons tripped to Dow City, Iowa and visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tobe McCoid for Christmas and also visited at the homes of other relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Dale McCoid, at Voll, Iowa and Mr. and Mrs. Don Garretts, at Arron, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. John Rudolph and son, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Rudolph enjoyed their family Christmas dinner and party Monday evening at the home of a daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stege and sons at Elmwood, Nebr. Dr. Petting er's of Syracuse, Willis Stubben deck's of Unadilla, Nebr. were also present. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Allen, of Lincoln, are the parents of a baby boy, born, Jan. 2nd, 1960. Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Rockenbach, Eagle. Mr. and Mrs. Allen (Judy Rockenbach) are both Eagle graduates. Paternal grandpar ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Allen, RFD, Lincoln. Mr. Harold Siekman of Hast ings, Nebr. visited his mother, Mrs. A. H. Siekman during the Christmas vacation. The Harry Ballance family moved during the Christmas vacation, to their property, in Waverly, Nebr. A Birthday party was enjoyed at the home of Helen Westlake, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clar ence Westlake honoring her 13th birthday. Several school class mates were supper guests on Tuesday evening Jan. 3rd, 1961. Six Eagle folks attended the Cass Co. Fellowship meeting, at the Elmwood EUB Church, on last Sunday evening, Jan. 1st. On Christmas eve, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hall were his father, Mr. Merle Hall brother, Mr. and Mrs. Wil lard Hall, and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hall and son, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hall and Walradt all of Elmwood, were present to enjoy the Christmas festive. Mrs. Hazel Cochran of Fair field. Iowa, left for her home on last Saturday, after visiting her son, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Coch ran and son several days, during the holidays. On Christmas Eve, at the home of Jesse Wall, his son, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Wall and fam ily of Lincoln, his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thompson and family of Palmyrra, Nebr. and Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. John son and family of Alvo, Nebr., gathered together for the Christmas festive. On Christ mas Day Mr. Owen Wall, who has been visiting at the broth er's home spent the day at his sister's home, Mrs. Minnie Peckham and son, Harry at Lincoln. On last Friday Mr. and Mrs. Percy McAllister of Davenport, Iowa were dinner guests at the home of his cousin, Mr. Jesse Wall and brother Owen. Ray Wall of Eagle was also a guest for the day and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Thompson of Palmyra. Mrs. Andrew Schultze and son Ernie left via train on Dec. 26 for Chicago and the latter continued on to New Brunswick, New Jersey via jet plane and visited at the home of nis brother. Mr. and Mrs. William Schultze. His mother remained at the home of her nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Berkman at Chicago. Both returned horns Jan. 3rd via train. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Um- land and family of Kansas City, Md., were Christmas Holiday visitors at the home of her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rock enbach. Mr. Ira Stoll of Lincoln, and his visiting son Dick Stoll of Denver, Colorado, called at the home of Ira's brother, Mr. and Mrs. Wilber Stoll and family on last Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Frohlich of Denver, Colorado, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Frohlich and several Eagle friends during their Christmas Holiday weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Schultze are the proud grandparents of a baby boy born to their son, Mr. and Mrs. William Schultze at New Brunswick, New Jersey on Dec. 26th. He weighed 7 lbs. and has been given the name Er nest Blair Andrew Schultze, a traditional family name. Mr. Edward Muenchau's mo ther, Mrs. Ben Muenchau of Alvo, has been enjoying a visit at the home of her daughter, Grace and family at Chatta nooga, Tennessee, during the holidays and plans to return home soon. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Matzke visited his sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Ficher on Christmas Day also Mrs. Fisch er's two sisters, Mr. Emma Kra bill and Mrs. Martha Mund henke of Milford, Nebraska. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Fitzgibbons and son Sid, were dinner guests at the home of her sister, Miss Elizabeth Taylor at Lincoln for New Year's Day. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wachters of Bennet, Nebr. were dinner guests, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilber Stoll and family on last Sunday. Mrs. Laura west was also a guest. Mr. Marion Kempkes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kempkes of Palmyra and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Fitzgibbons, Eagle was married to Diane Springman also of Palmyra re cently at the Palmyra Baptist Church. He is a Palmyra grad uate and is employed at Lin coln and they will reside in Lin coln in an apt. Ball, a dairy manager, was taking a bag containing $1,142 to the bank. After treatment at a hospital for a lump on the skull, Ball dusted off his auburn toupee and put it back on his bare scalp.
