Guests were Mr. Stall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Stall and daughter Velene, his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Dunne Stall und family, all of Eagle, his sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Oberles' of Lincoln, and the paternal grandparents, Mr.and Mrs. Byron Stall of I'sUmyra. Mrs. Valjean Stall substituted teaching in the first grade room, at Eagle Schools Friday. Mrs. Sitorlous is the regular teacher. The "O St. Homemakers" club members enjoyed a tour of New East Lincoln Gateway ; Shopping Center at Lincoln Mon-j day. They dined together at the noon hour. The Eagle Fire Department was called to the weed and grass . fire on the north side of the j half-mile lane at the Northwest edge of Eagle town limits Sat urday afternoon. It was forunate there were no buildings or hay stacks nearby. Janice Doran, 10 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mel vin Doran, underwent a tonsilec tomy Friday at Lincoln. She is recovering satisfactorily. She had been suffering with a fre quent tonsilitis and gland infec tion. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Doran and her daughter, Linda, of Lin coln visited Ms nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Doran Sunday af ternoon and evening. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Fifer of Lincoln visited his mother, Mrs. Anna Fifer, Sunday. Mrs. Dallas Filer's mother (74 yrs of age) at Lincoln, has recovered trom a several weeks confinement with an injury from a fall and Mrs. Fifer cared for her during her convalescence. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Rodaway were also din ner guests at her mother's home and spent the afternoon with the above folks. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gerhard and Mr." and Mrs. R. II. Norris announce the arrival of a grand daughter Sarah Gail to the for mer's daughter Arlene and Dick Norris at Independence, Mis souri on Nov. 3rd. Mrs. Norris, returned home Wednesday even ing after enjoying a week, with the son and family. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Gerhard spent Sunday at the home of former neighbors and friends, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kinney at Alvo. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Colbert, of Lincoln called at the home of Mr. Edward Gerhard and Mr. and Mrs. Eldee McKays' Sunday afternoon. KEEP IN TOUCH Rev. and Mrs. J.W. Taenzler and daughter Julia will spend the Thanksgiving week-end with the oldest daughter Phyllis Har old and family in Palatine, 111. Joseph Libershal departed Tuesday for Montrose, Colo., where he will visit over the Thanksgiving holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wolever and family. Mrs. Wolever is the for mer Patty Libershal. Robert Sedlak, Jr., is spending the holiday season at Fremont, where he is visiting his mater nal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Swatek with Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Kalina are enjoying their Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Spanstat at Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Sed lak are spending their Thanks giving at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clell Cansemer near Ne hawka. The Gansemer children and their family will comprise the dinner party. Mr. and Mrs. Grover Cundall, Sr., Mr. and -Mrs. Grover Cun dall, Jr., Brad and Kirk, Miss Jarret Campbell and Larry Cun dall are at Fort Crook for the holiday, Quests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Fine and family. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Shellen barger's holiday guests will be Mrs. Howard Dow, mother of Mrs. Shellenbarger, of this city, Bernard Dow of Lincoln, and the couple's son, Jerome of Ames, la. Hanlan Tuesday afternoon and helped Mrs. Hanlan celebrate her birthday. Mrs. Hanlan re ceived many cards. She reports that Mr. Hanlan isn't very well at this writing and is under the care of the doctor. Mrs. Dale Timmons enter tained at a birthday party Sat urday afternoon for the twelfth birthday of her daughter Shir ley. Eight girls came for the afternoon after which the birth day cake, ice cream and punch were served. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Colbert were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Heneger Nov. 12 hon oring Mr. Heneger on his 80th birthday. The guests coming for the birthday dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Doty, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Markham and children of Plattsmouth. The Sew'n'Sews met Wednes day evening at the home of Mrs. Richard Harmon with eleven members present. Mrs. Ralph Keckler was hos tess to the Cloverleaf Club Thursday with 11 members and three guests. The afternoon was spent socially. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Carnes were evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Colbert to help Mr. Colbert celebrate his 80th birthday.
