Case County Judge. No. 4578 Nov. 12, 19, 26, 1959. Obituary EAGLE (Special) William Burns Bunten was born Jan. 25, 1869, in a log house on the Bun. ten farm four miles southeast of Eagle. He died at a Lincoln hos pital, Nov. 19 at the age of 90 He was the eldest son of Wil liam and Jane(Ronald) Bunten who preceded him in death. Two sisters also preceded him in death. In 1870, he moved with his parents to the Bunten homestead where he grew to manhood. He was a farmer and stockman. Except for a few trips to other states he lived all his life bet ween Eagle and Palmyra near his birthplace. Since 1936, he and his sister, Mrs. Mary Lanning, made their home in Eagle, Nebr., where he cared for the yard and garden. Survivors are 'three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Lanning, Palmyra, Mrs. Mary Lanning, Eagle, and Glenetta Bunten, Banning, Calif. A brother, T. C. Bunten, Ban ning, Calif, and many nephews and nieces. Rev. Robert Bowne of Eagle and Rev. Rumbaugh of Palmyra officiated at the funeral services at the Palmyra Presbyterian church. Nephews were the pall bearers. Burial was at Palmyra cemetery.
