But painted it was! That was a glorious Saturday no picnic or ball games, just hours of hard work. And what with the paint sup plied at cost by a local dealer, and the brushes loaned by the very painter who might have hoped for the contract nobody made a nickel! But the remarkable thing is that nobody in town thought all this remarkable... You know Christianity has had a deep influence on the life of a community when we begin to take for granted the zeal and See of Christian neighbors.
