The attention of bidders is invited to the fact that the De partment of Roads and Irriga tion has been advised by the Wage and Hour Division, U. S. Department of Labor, that con- L tractors engaged in highway construction work are required to meet the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1933 (52 Stat. 1060), as amend ed. The minimum wage paid to all skilled labor employed on this contract shall be one dol lar and sixty cents ($1.60) per hour. The minimum wage paid to all intermediate labor employed on this contract shall be one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per hour. The minimum wage paid - to all unskilled labor employed on this contract shall be one dol lar ($1.00) per hour. Plans and specifications for the work may be seen and in formation secured at the office of the Department of Roads and Irrigation at Lincoln, Nebraska. The successful bidder will be required to furnish bond in an amount equal to 100 of his contract. As an evidence of good faith in submitting a proposal for this work, the bidder must file, with his proposal, a certified check made, payable to the Depart ment of Roads and Irrigation and in an amount not less than seven hundred (700) dollars.
