Chester Irons, Sat urday, Nov. 24, at Lincoln. He was the con of Clyde Irons and a namesake of his uncle, Ches ter Irons. Mrs. Bert Reber" reports that her granddaughter, Mrs. Jerry Ccmstock, and husband had visited her mother in Alvo for Christmas and that she is al most completely recovered from an illness she suffered last sum mer. ' Mrs. Bert Reber spent the day with her niece, Berniece, and husband, Mr. and Mrs. John Dankleff, Thursday. Mrs.' Lyle Danklcff was there with her baby. This was the first time Mrs. Reber had seen him.: : Mrs. Ed Backemeyer was re moved from a Lincoln hospital to her home where she is con valescing .very satisfactorily from her recent surgery. Howard McLaughlin returned heme from an Omaha hospital where he underwent surgery on Dec. 21. He is convalescing very satisfactorily. ', . Mrs- J. T. Jochensr had ' pre Christmas visitors ;on Sunday, Dec. 18. They were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Opsting and son, Danny, from Lincoln. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Thomas and son, Dick, left ' Friday to drive to Camp LeJune, N. C, to spend Christmas with their son, Sgt. Dennis, his mother; his aunt, "Mrs. Clara Sumbrunn; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kuehn and three sons; Mr. and Mrs. Loren Dennis, son, Roger, daughters,, Jacquelin and Jill from Bellevue; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Rase and son, Larry, Bellevue. Mrs. R. M. Dennis and sis ter, Mrs. Clara Zumbrunn, went to Bellevue Friday and visited with Mrs. Dennis' daughter and family, Mrs. Alfred Rase. They had a pre-Christmas dinner on Saturday returning home Sun day. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hill spent Saturday evening with their son, Jim Hill, and family at 3 Falls City. Mrs. Norton is their daughter. Elmwood Earl Horton Mr. and Mrs. Earl Horton had Christmas dinner- on Sunday with their daughter, 'Lois Fran- cis, and her son, Norman Fran cis; Mr. Suers, all of Lincoln; Mr. and Mrs. Orville Julian and daughter, .Claire, from Platts mouth. This is the first Christ mas that Junior, has been home for several years, as he just re turned from .
