Mrs. Harold Nickel gave an in teresting report of the state conference held at Grand Island in March. Mrs. Sherrill Fifer on behalf of the Societv nrpspnf.pri Mrs. Knapp an honorary life membership pin which repre sents a gift of $25 toward the missionary work of the Society. Mrs. Hazel Mickel preoented corsages for missions to the fol lowing: Mrs. Sherrill Fifer Mrs. George Johnson, Mrs. Archie Miller, Mrs. Wayne Kinney, Miss Emma Jordan, Miss Alice Kell oa:, and Mrs. Minnie Peterson. The worship service was led by Mrs. Archie Miller and the lesson by Mrs. Mabelle Elliott. Alvo Mrs. Pentico of Lincoln spent Tuesday with Mrs. Fenner at the home nf Mrs. Walter Nickel. Grandma Fenner celebrated her 91st birthday. Wednesday April 6th. She received a number of cards, three birthday cakes, some candy, and some money for her birthday. She has been bedfast for over a year. Mrs. Ivan Brunkow from Tulsa. Okla., ate dinner with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herm an Brunkow. Wednesday. He was in Omaha on business and called on them for a while. Mrs. DeLoris Reike and Mrs. Grover Hild called on Mrs. Mabelle Winn Saturday after noon. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Roikc took Mr. and Mrs. Hild to Elm wood to church and to Ashland to dinner. We are sorry to report Monday she was taken by am bulance to the hospital at Lin coln. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Heier were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Heier's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson at Eagle. Mrs. Johnson hasn't been feeling so well lately. Mrs. Charles Ganz and baby were Monday afternoon callers of Mrs. Harvey Heier. Mabel and Ralph Winn drove to Lincoln Monday night to see Bert Cheever before he left for Colorado Springs. Mrs. Weichel's sister and fam ily, Mrs. Rosa Burke in Lincoln. All of Mrs. Weichel's brothers and sisters and her parents were there. Patty and Kathy Kinney and Sandra Hergenrader, grand daughter of Mrs. Addie Kinney from Lincoln visited her from Friday evening until Sunday evening.
