Murray "Young, Minford At Group Meeting Parr Young and Will Minford attended a business meeting of the Nebraska Livestock Feeders Association at the Livestock Ex change building in Omaha on Monday. The group voted to function independently in the future. They formerly were af filiated with the Cornbelt Live stock Feeders Association. Murray BIRTH Mr. and Mrs. Junior Radke are the parents of a baby girl. Murray Larry Gregg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gregg, underwent a tonsil operation at Nebraska Citv on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Sporer visited Mr. and Mrs. Will Cook and daughter, Mrs. Clarice Pick well at Elmwood on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Tritsch and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Tritsch visited Charles Spangler at Methodist hospital in Omaha this past week. Murray Man Is Cited for Aid in Recent Blizzard A local farmer recently was highly praised for aiding a mo tori. in the November 25 bliz zard over a radio station, WIBW, in Topeka. Dr. E. C. Quigley, who has a snorts show on Tues davs and Thursdays over the WIBW station, told how Harold Gregg aided him after his car stalled near the Gregg farm. Harold Gree? tried to take Dr. Quigley to Plattsmouth in his car and got about two miles be fore he eot stuck in a drift. Mr. Gregg then had to walk back home for chores that were wait in?. Dr. Quigley continued on foot to Plattsmouth. He recently returned for his suitcase which he left in the Gregg auto. Tues day nieht in his address over his show he had hich praise for the kindness Mr. Gregg showed him. Murray Polio Patient Is Improved Charles Spangler who has been a nolio patient at Methodist hos pital in Omaha for some weeks is somewhat improved. He was able to sit up in a wheel chair for the first time since he en tered the hosoital. He also was able to move his rieht leg a bit. Dick Todd visited Charles SDangler at the hospital Monday night. Murray Mrs. Edith Tutt is leaving to spend the winter with her niece in Kansas City. Mrs. Will Minford was in charge of music. Rev. Don Morris and family of Des Moines visited a few days with Rev. Ray Morris. Rev. Don Morris is assistant pastor of a church in Des Moines. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Johnson were in Lincoln on Tuesday.
