Trout Season Now Open Over State Nebraska's angling season is now in full swing as 35 counties previously closed to trout fish ing until ADril 1 are now open. The entire state is open to fish ing for all species. Anglers initiated their bid for some of the 175,000 fish stocked in Medicine Creek reservoir as of April 1 when that impoundment was opened to fishing for the first time. Contract Given For Guard Rails On Highway 75 A contract for erecting guard posts on Highway U. S. Nos. 73-75-34 between Plattsmouth and Union has been awarded, ac cording to a Department of Roads and Irrigation announce ment. Mosbarger and Eras Construc tion Company of Arapahoe won the contract with a low bid of S838.50 for the work. The firm is to supply and erect 129 guard posts to complete the project of , widening and resurfacing the I highway begun in 1951. j State Engineer Harold L. Cyril Sullivan was fined $20 and costs in county court after pleading guilty to a charge o' intoxication.
