Twp. 12 N. Rze. 13, E; The NWl4 of the SW4 of Sec tion 14, Twp. 12 N, Rge. 13 E; and the SW't of the NW'i of j Section 14, Twp. 12 N, Rge. 13 E, i except a tract described as fol- I lull weeks prior to said election, lows:: commencing at the NW ! and said special election shall corner of the SW4 of the NWU ! be held at the usual voting pre of said section, thence running , cincts and places in said county west 700 feet, thence running I from the hour of 8:00 o'clock in south 350 feet, thence running east 700 feet, thence running north 350 feet, to the place of beginning and containing 5.63 acres, more or less; all in Cass County, Nebraska. ( AND WHEREAS the original cost of said real estate to said County was more than $3,000.00; AND WHEREAS it is deemed beneficial and for the best in terests of the County that said real estate be sold at public auction: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RE SOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Cass County, Nebraska, that the following proposition be submitted to the electors of said County at the Primary election to be held in said County on the 1st day of April, 1952: "Shall the County of Cass sell the following described real es tate, to-wit: The NE'i of the SEI4 of Sec. 15, Twp. 12 N. Rge 13 E; the NW1.4 of the SW4 of Sec. 14, Twp. 12 N. Rge. 13 E; and the SW14 of the NW4 of Sec. 14, Twp. 12 N, Rge. 13 E, ex cept a tract described as follows: commencing at the NW corner of the SW'i of the NW1; of said section, thence running west 700 feet, thence running south 350 feet, thence running east 700 feet, thence running north 350 feet to the place of beginning and containing 5.63 acres, more or less; all in Cass County, Ne braska, at public auction under the terms and conditions re quiring 15 7c of the purchase price to be paid in cash on the date of sale, with balance of said purchase price to be paid in full upon delivery of deed and abstract showing merchantable title, for which the County Board shall be authorized to execute all necessary instru ments in connection with said sale and transfer including a warranty deed and preparation of an abstract of title. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if a majority of the electors In said County voting thereon vote in favor of said proposition, then in such case said real estate shall be sold at public auction upon the terms and con- ditions set forth in said propo- sition. McDonald, Countv Cierk RESOLUTION: WHEREAS the bridges of the County of Cass, Nebraska, are in such condition as to require construction, repair and mainte nance, the cost of which will cause the total tax levy for county purposes to exceed the legal limits for county purposes, unless additional levy is author ized by vote of the peopit M said county as provided by Sec tion 23-119, R. S. J943; AND WHEREAS the authority for submitting the proposition of increasing the tax levy for the year 1952 and for one year thereafter in excess of fifty cents on the one hundred dollar valuation by the Board of Coun ty Commissioners is set out in Section 23-125, R. S. 1943, and other related sections; AND WHEREAS in order to properly maintain, construct and repair such bridges it will be necessary that the Board of County Commissioners be au thorized to levy one and six tenths (1 610) mills on the dol lar valuation of all taxable prop erty in Cass County, Nebraska, for the construction, mainte nance and repair of bridges, all in addition to the levy author ized by law for county purposes, and in addition to the legal levy limits; provided however, the total levy for bridge purposes shall not exceed one and six tenths (1 610) mills, including the levy herein to be author ized. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RE SOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Cass County, Nebraska, as follows: Section 1. That said proposi tion shall be submitted to the voters of said county at a special election which is hereby called to be held in said county on April 1, 1952. Section 2. The proposition shall be submitted in the fol lowing form: ' Shall the Board of County Commissioners of Cass County, Nebraska, beginning the year 1952 and for one additional year thereafter exceed the levy of 50c on the or.e hundred dollar valuation fixed by Section 23 119 R. S. 1943, by levying one and six-tenths (1 610) mills on the dollar valuation on all tax able property in Cass County, Nebraska, for the construction, maintenance and repair of bridges, all in addition to the ty purposes and in addition to the legal levy limits: provided, the total levy for bridges shall not exceed one and six-tenths (1 6 '10 1 mills, including the levy herein authorized. For said proposition Against said proposition ( Section 3. Notice of election upon said proposition shall be given by publication m Piattsmouth Journal for the four the morning until the hour of 3:00 o'clock in the evening cn April 1, 1952, and the judges and clerks of said election shall be provided therefore in the same numbers and with the same duties as at the Primary Election to be held on the same date and at the same time and places. Section 4. The County Clerk is hereby authorized and direct ed to cause notice of said elec tion on said proposition to be published as above provided. Dated this 19th day of Febru ary, 1952. W. F.
