Weeping Mrs. Opal Wallick Leo Christensen and Henry Knaup attended a stockholders meeting of the Olsen Quarries Monday night at Murdock. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Burgen for Christmas dinner were Raymond Vicholson and family from Omaha; Mrs. Anna Nicholson and Wayne Nicholson and family from Wabash. Mrs. Bonnie LaRue and Patty were Christmas Eve and over night guests and Christmas day with Mrs. Geo. Ellis and Miss Kathryn Ellis. Following the church services held at the Congregational church Mr. and Mrs. Dick Har mon and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lauritzen and David visited at the Rasmus Lauri:zen, Jr., home. Mrs. Walter Anderson and Mrs. E a n o s Plunkett had charge of several games. Christmas carols1 were sung by the group with Mrs. Knaup as pianist. Mrs. Murray Mutter and Roberta Knaup sang "White Christmas." Mrs. Ralph Lane gave a short memorial service in honor of Mrs. E. F. Marshall. A gift exchang; was also enjoyed. Betty Burgen was host-ss at her own birthday party Satur day night. This was Betty's 16th birthday. 27 guests were present. Dancing and games occupied most of the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Laurit zen, Jr., and family; Mr. and Mrs. Dick Harmon; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lauritzen and David paid a visit to Mr. and Mrs. Tom Akcson and Marilyn of Avoca. The occasion was Mr. Akeson's and Alice Lauritzerfs birthdays. After dinner of oyster stewT, two birthday cakes were served and the presents were opened. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar TJffelman, Valerie and Jean spent Christ mas day in York with his uncle, Charles V. Seely. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Har mon of Loup City were Christ mas day guests of his grand mother. Mrs. W. S. Bundy of Ashland. That same evening they were dinner gussts of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus Lauritzen, with Mr. and Mrs. ! During the latter part of the holidays the Weeping Water Malsteads made a trip to Nor folk to visit the senior Mal iteads. Barber, Mr. and Mrs. Nile Barber and family of Haw thorne, who were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Millard Robertson of El Segundo, Mr. and Mrs. A. O. A Christ mas Eve dinner was enjoyed by the families present. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Miller and family of Lyman were unable to come for the get-together. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Heneger were family hosts to their son's and daughter's families on Christmas day with a turkey dinner enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Glen Heneger, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence EidenmiHer and daughter, Karen, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Heneger and fam ily. Judge and Mrs. Leon Merrick arrived Monday afternoon to spend over Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Day.
