Grafton and Gary Laughlin of Omaha spent Tuesday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Laughlin. They accompanied their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grafton Laughlin to Yellow stone National Park and the west coast later in the week. South Ashland 'Tuesday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffman and Lucille. They called on Mrs. Bert Rager in the afternoon. John and Sarah Nichols were in Weeping Water on business Thursday. That afternoon they called on their brother, Earl Nichols. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lambert entertained Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson of Lincoln and Mrs. John Lambert and Willis of Green wood at dinner Thursday eve ning. couth Ashland Return From Western Trip Mr and Mrs. Walter C. Far mer and Miss Jane and littlrj Miss Joyce Farmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Farmer, re turned home Wednesday from a short trip to Wyoming and Colorado. They visited Miss Carol Farmer at Stapps Lake Lodge in the mountains above Ward, Colorado and with other relatives at Wray, Colorado. Ricky Ziegenbein spent from Friday till Sunday with 'his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Har old Richards, while his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ziegenbein went to Kearney for the week end. They came for him Sunday evening and all returned to their home in Lincoln. Mrs. Raymond Nelson and Mrs. Harold Richards visited their brother Orville Sandy on Saturday afternoon, who is con valescing from a recent illness. South Ashland Omahan Visits Grandparents Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Odell vis ited at the home of their son. Warren Odell in Omaha, Friday. South Ashland 4-H'ers to Spend Time at Camp Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Deal, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klipp and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Buell took their sons, Gary, La Vern and Ray mond and their camping equip ment to Camp Harding near Louisville, Monday, where the boys will enjoy a three days out ing. Murray Birthday Party Honors Couple Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hild en joyed a birthday party Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Philpot, honoring the birthdays of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Philpot from Arnold, Nibraska and Mrs. Ethel McCarthy. One hundred guests were present for this happy occasion. Murray Lewis Family Has Reunion Sunday The Lewis fa .iily held their annual family reunion Sunday at Steinhart park, Nebraska City. There me 100 relatives present for this happy occasion coming from the states of Mary land, Missouri and Iowa. Mr. J. D. Lewis was the eldest member present, being in his 89th year. Murray Nancy and Janice Lancaster and Dewyane Noell are spend ing three days this week at the Hariett Harding Camp near Louisville. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Faris. Kay. Billy and Carol and Mrs. Rachel Faris are spending several days at Crystal Lake, Iowa, visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Faris and family. Murray Illinois Family Visits Last Week Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dolan, Rose Marie, Larry and Kenneth, Peoria, Illinois, spent from Wed nesday until Saturday at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lan caster and Mr. and Mrs. Ray mond Lancaster. Friday they visited Boys Town and enjoyed the trip very much. Murray Murray Stitchers Test Achievements The Murray Stitchers had their achievement day last Thursday at the home of Mrs. Raymond Lancaster. Nine girls were present and their mothers were also invited. The girls pre sented a program of songs and readings. Janice Lancaster and Minnie Mae Hoschar gave a demonstration of making peas ant aprons. Nancy Todd and Nancy Lancaster demonstrated clothes protectors. They also ex hibited their year's work. Re freshments were served. Murray Marylin Sporer went to Au burn on the bus Monday to visit her sister, Mrs. Karl Ogg and Mr. Ogg.
