The cere mony began when thirty-five altar boys dressed in white, red and black cassocks and white surplices and twenty-four flower girls in white formals with var ied sashes in pastel colors, en tered the church. The Holy Ros ary choir, under the direction of Mr. Don Cotner sang the pro cessional hymn. Mrs. Vincent Pilny was at the organ console. Father John Kelly led the rosary from the microphone be fore the main altar, while the entire congregation filed out of church to the outdoor shrine on theKoly Rosary church grounds. The lighted tapers carried by the people in the outdoor pro cession made a very inspiring sight. The statue of Our Lady of Vic tory was flanked on either side with a sea of peonies. At re gular intervals was a giant candle stick to which was at tached a large votive candle and a bouquet. The large blank et type floral design had a large monogram of the letter "M' in white peonies outlined with paie pink peonies. The field for this monogram was made with red peonies. This design was creat ed by Ramon Koubek and Ken neth Meisinger. The decoration commia.ee was composed cf Mrs. Grace Meisinger, Josephine Warga, Josephine Rys, Char lotte Peisinger. Joan Hula. Dor othy Ptacek. Antonia Vanek and Mrs. Vincent Pilny. The entire outdoor shrine was illuminated by a battery of flood lights. Catherine Svoboda, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Svoboda, was the crown bearer. She was attended by Joan Hula and Pa tricia Janda. David Hohman and John Brink were her pages who carried her train. Patricia Janda. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Janda. placed a flcrai crewn made from tiny rose buds, upon the head of the statue of the Blessed Mother. Father Robert Gaydos. a Redemptorist from Holy Name of Omaha, spoke on the origin, meaning and symbolism of the May Crowning ceremony.
