AGE FOUR ImwDod Mrs. Crari lbon Miss Ruth Behrens is teaching south of town in the Pleasant Hill district of Otoe County. Miss Dorothy Wendt is work ing in the American Exchange Bank. She is one of the Coun tesses at the Plattsmouth Korn Karnival this week, which is appreciated by her friends of this community. Mrs. Gertrude Davis returned home from her summer vacation stay at Chicago, Aurora, HI, and Pell Lake, Wisconsin. Ghe and Mrs. Frisbee began their service of school lunches on Monday. The report 85 plates served that Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Marshall and Clark motored to Sidney and Grant, Nebraska for a visit. A pleasant social gathering was enjoyed in Lincoln on Sun day at the home of Air. and Mrs. Le Roy Phelan. Mrs. Phclan is the former Nellie Neely of this place. Mr. Walter Pivbon went to Kansas cn Monday on business in connection with his Brown County farm near Netawaka. Mrs. Ida Harley had a birthday on Tuesday and her daughters helped her celebrate the follow- ing Sunday.
