He told of his experiences Monday in delivering gas and fuel oil to his clientele, which kept him at work until midnight. Tuesday Paul Stock sold and de livered an Allis-Chalmers tractor to Seay, who lives near Fort Crook. I " Mrs. Frank Rosenow has been ' visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Rosenow at Clay Center, Kansas, and during her absence Frank has been batching a line of work he claims he is perfectly com petent to do correctly. Messrs Paul Stock and Louis Schmidt were over to Plattsmouth on last Monday, where they went to ascertain facts relative to their obtaining enough gas for the con tinuation of their business. Paul Stock operates an implement busi ness, demonstrating and delivering company Tuesday was in looking Mur-after Joe Richter, wes delivering corn to the elevator for Ezra Albin, who was selling his corn to the Union ele vator on Monday of this week. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Patterson over in the Rock Bluff locality were host and hostesses for the Thanksgiving; day and had as their guests for the: day Mr. and Mr. Albert Wheeler, j Percy Wheeler and wife and J. C. j Wheeler and where all enjoyed anj excellent dinner and a good visit, j Mr. and Mrs. George E. Nickles on Monday of last week were enjoying ' dinner given at Omaha when James ! Becker who is employed at i Hastings with the defense work was I looking after some business matters I in Plattsmouth and was also calling on his mother Mrs. Eva Becker of ; Union as he was returning to his work. A Very Busy Place Monday With the gas rationing to follow the next day, the Rock Creek service station operated by W. L. Seybolt, was a very busy place last Monday, with the proposition; staring all in the face of reduced gasoline supplies. All were eager to get their tanks filled. ;f To Make Home Here Mrs. L. Mrs. R. W. Tyson and daughter were visiting in Omaha for a number of days during the past week remain ing until Saturday when the doctor drove there to bring the family home. Turner ar rived Wednesday from Orange City, Louisiana, and will visit here for a ! short time with Mr. Turner's par-! ents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Turner. Mr. Turner is planning on enlisting in the "Seabees," naval construction regiment, as he has been engaged in welding work in the south. Mr. and Mrs. Turner were mar ied last September, she being a resi dent of Orange City.
