The home was very lovely in the bright hued flowers of the summer and made most attractive ' setting for the dinner. Games followed the dinner. The guest of honor received many very lovely gifts as remembrances of the friends." The guests present were: Shirley Mason, Shirley Jacobs, Dorothy Jean Turner, Renee Brown, Wilma Swatek. Alice Hiatt, Maxine Bow man, Betty J. Joe Libershal, Rose Mary Steppat, 'Alice Jayne Gross hans, Aileen Reed, Evelyn Gordon, and Merrileen Larson, Omaha, and the guest of honor Helen Hiatt. Guests who were invited and unable to attend , were Corrine Hallstrom, Wilda Mitchell, Fhyllis Speck and Jackie Wetenkamp. Warthen were held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sattler funeral home at Fourth and Vine Streets, where a large number of the old friends and relatives had 'gathered to pay their last respects to thi memory of the long time res ident of the community. -j Rev.
