These rules affect the customer who purchases on credit and the merchant who sells. This regulation does not alter the prevailing terms of sale, which provide for full payment of each month's purchases on or before the 10th of the following month. If full payment has not been made by the 10th of the second month following, the merchant is not permitted to extend further credit until this condi ion has been corrected. This ruling went into effect May 1, 1942 and accounts not paid by July 10th are delinquent. Our mutual cooperation in adhering to the regu lations will minimize any inconvenience and also as sist our Government in this emergency.
