Lyme Regis church, which, like many another building in that quaint old Dorset seaport, is in danger of slipping into the waves, lias compara tively little of interest for tourist or townsman to loiter over. Its most re markable memorial is the stained glass window to Mary Anning. This was the schoolgirl who. in 1811, dis turbed the lost rest of the saurian monster — icthyosaurus Platydon— whose remains now lie in tha Natural History museum at South Kensington.
