On Thanksgiving day an ela borate dinner was served to a number of our people at the home of L. J. Hitchcock. All who were present spent a most plea sant day. Our merchants seem to vie with each other in the matter of win dow displays and general decoration tionA large number of busi ness houses in this city are de corated worthy of much more pre tensions and larger place which shows the spirit and push that endow our business men. If it is not as easy to say a good word for every worthy effort that will add business or a better feeling in the town you call home it is certainly much more manly to do so. All communities have their petty differences and if you are looking for the Garden of Eden you will certainly be com pelled to change your courses.
