each other in the matter of win
dow displays and general decoration
tionA large number of busi

corated worthy of much more pre
tensions and larger place which
shows the spirit and push that
endow our business men.
If it is not as easy to say a
good word for every worthy effort
that will add business or a better
feeling in the town you call home
it is certainly much more manly
to do so. All communities have
their petty differences and if you
are looking for the Garden of
Eden you will certainly be com
pelled to change your courses.
A "beefer" and "kicker" will
never reach that point.

AN OPEN LETTER
TO
Whitaker Bros.
AnnINK , KANS. , Dec. 6 , 1905.
WHITAKER HROS. ,
Falls City , Nebraska ,
GKNTUCMKN : We have just listed one of the finest farms
of 640 acres , in this part of the country. It lies just across
the county line over in Ottawa county. 350 acres under
plow , balance in fine pasture and meadow , good new build
ings , plenty of fine water , well fenced , price $25 per acre ,
cash , 10years time at 6 per cent. Please tell Mahlon
Heachy to come at once and take this at once and take this
as it is one of the best bargains to be had and will not be on
the market long1 at this price.
The entire 640 ocres is a beautiful tract , can see a clog
on any part of it from either corner. Now if you can get
Heachy to come down and see this I will take my chances of
selling him this section , for good Lord think of it , only pay
ing ] / down , and he will make $20 per acre within two
years , as I have $200 cash pocket that I will wager that the
man that buys this section at the above price will make $20
per acre within two years. If you have a friend that wants
a bargain have him come a running. Respectfully yours ,
E. KIME
* *
This Mr. Keim is a brother-in-law to Mr. lieachy and is
well known to many of the people of this and Brown county
Kansas. The above is surely a bargain , as we know the
country is fine in which this is located , in fact there is a
scope of country near Talmage that beats anything in Rich
ardson county. Call and see us and get a list of these lands.
