Tffi THE FARMERS OF BOX ELDER AITD VICIKITT I wish to call jour attention to
the Jack Whirlwind which I sold Mr A T Wilson a short time ago This is one of the
best bred jacks in the state of Nebraska and will produce the best mules you have ever
seen Nothing pays so well as to raise a few good mules Mules are bringing much
higher prices than horses and when horses are high mules are still higher This has
been tho case since tho settlement of America and it will never change Of course we
cannot raise all mules we must raise more horses than mules but it will pay every far
mer to raise a few good mules Weanling males the past season sold readily at from S0
to 140 each at four months old Good heavy three and fcur year old mules are now
bringing 100 to 600 per pair everyvhero One gentleman from Mobile Ala came here
few dajs ago and he says you cannot bny a pair of mules in Mobile for less than SS00
een though they were aced and not very sonnd I will buy all males sired by Mr Wil
sons jack delivered at McCook at weanling age during the month of November next
year that are of fair quality sound and in reasonably good condition at 65 each I
make the delivery late so a to gee tho late mules All those who are in position to do
so should patronize Mr Wilsons this season Yon cannot make as much money in any
ther way as live stock
