How to Ward off Rheumatism
For years when spring time came on
and I went into gardening I was sure
have an attack of rheumatism and every
attack was more severe than the pre
ceding one says Josie McDonald of
Man Logan county West Va I tried
everything with no relief whatever until
I procured a bottle of Chamberlains
Pain Balm and the first application gave
me ease and before the first bottle was
used I felt like a new person Now I
feel that I am curedbut I always keep a
bottle of Chamberlains Pain Balm in
the house and when I feel any symptoms
of a return I soon drive it away with one
or two applications of this liniment

Talk About a New Line
A clipping from an Omaha paper of
recent date says The prospect of the
construction of a portion of the Rock
Island railroad through southern Ne
braska and northern Kansas to connect
the lines of this state and the main line
to Chicago from Council Bluffs with the
southern branch ofjthe system are bright
er now than for many years The mat
ter has been suggested to the managers
of the railroad many times by the Oma
ha Commercial club and other business
organizations of the state whoso mem
bers desire to roach the trade in Kansas
and since the Rock Island has projected
its road into Mexico with a probable
southwestern outlet to the Pacific coast
the connection between the northern
and southern divisions of the road is
still more desirable Supt Cable of the
southern division was in Omaha this
week and Secretary Utt of the Commer
cial club took the matter up with him
showing the advantage which the road
would derive through the construction
of a comparatively short line which
would connect the two systems west of
the Missouri river While nothing defi 1
nito was said by tho superintendent he
gave the club to understand that the
matter would be presented to the direc
tors of the company for their considera
tion
A customer of ours who had been
sufiering from a severe cough for six
months bought two bottles of Chamber
lains Cough Remedy from us and was
entirely cured by one and a half bottles
of it It gives perfect satisfaction with
