In the copyrighted article in the current issue of Look Maga-1 zine which announces his de For the Home Children Play Darts on Marlite Wainscot IN i child’s room, the lower wall A area or wainscot is subject to a considerable beating which ne cessitates frequent redecorating. On the market is a wall material which is ideally suited for the wainscot. Known as Marlite, a f decorated hardboard with a plas tic surface, these panels never need redecorating. Those shown are planks 16' wide. They are easy to put up, as they have tongue and groove edges and metal clips which en able even an amateur craftsman to put them up accurately. These particular planks have a wood grain finish. Others come in pas tel colors. So durable are these planks, youngsters can play a target game drawn on them with a wax i crayon. They use suction-cupped darts. Marks like the ones made for the target are removed with a damp cloth. The durable ma terial under the plastic finish is time-tried Masonite Presdwood. Of course, the wainscot may be full-width, 4' panels of Mar lit*. Recommended for the upper walls and ceiling are blocks, 16' square, which come in the same variety of patterns and shades as the planks. All are available at lumber yards. % cision, Jackie writes: “Because of baseball. I was able to speak out on behfclf of Negro Ameri cans before Hie House Un-Amer ican Activities Committee and rebuke Paul Bobeson for saying most of us Negroes would not fight for our country in a war against Russia..” “Today I’m happier than I’ve ever been." Robinson continues in his Look article. “On March 4, I will go to work for the Chock Full O’Nuts res taurant chain as vice president in charge of personnel. “I’ll be able to sppad more time with my family too," the retired athlete concludes. “My kids and I will get to know each other better. Jackie and Sharon and David will have a real father they can play with and talk to in the evening and every weekend They won't have to look for him on TV.” YW Will Note Third Anniversary On Sunday afternoon, January 20, at 4 P M. there will be a Pub lic Affairs Film Forum held at the downtown building of the j YWCA, 17th and St. Marys, in commemoration of the third an niversary of the acquisition of the new Branch building.
