SEARCHING FOR SURVIV ORS OF AIRLINER Shor.ly after a giant skyliner erasAhed a.t Clifton, ten miles from Pittsburgh, early in the evening of ^farch 25, rescuers rushed to the scene looking through the wreckage for pos sible survivors. The plane fell nose first into a. small gully, and its cabin, was smashed to splinters. Ten pasengers and a crew of three perished in the crash,. Mr*. Luilla Coleman, the mother of Mrs. June Robinson and Mrs. J. Ohrisholm, 2214 No- 26th street has been visiting in the city. She left for Lincoln on Marh 30th. She reported a wonderful visit while in the city. Mr*. Bishop Williams preach ed,at 3 p. m Mrs. Mahammitt’s School of Cookery 2116 No. 26th 81 Phone WE 4120 Chicken Mousse 1 four pound chicken. 5 eggs 1-2 teaspoon Baking powder 2 tablespoons flour 1 can mushrooms 2 cups bread crumbs (have bread p. day old) 2 1-2 cups milk 2 tablespoons butter 1 pint thin cream Direction: Put the breast and upper joint of chicken through meat grinder. Cut crust from the bread and soak bread in the milk. Yolks of two eggs and half teaspoon baking powder. In this mixture, add the ground chicken. Salt and pepper to 'taste. Let stand an hour. Just be fore: using, whip the whites of four eggs and fold in. Have well greas ed mould and fill with chicken mix ture- Set mould in pan of water. Fatke about forty minutes, or un til firm. Sauce: Cook all remaining chick en until tender. When done, cut chidkon in small pieces. Make cream sauce of'the butter, flour and cream. Add chicken and mushrooms to this sauce. When mousse is done turn out on dish and fill with sauce. NOTE: As soon a« breast and forelegs are off the chicken, put remaining chicken on to cook at once. Hum Cake Whites of 8 eggs beaten stiff Add 1-2 teaspoon cream of tar tar 11-2 cups sugar, and add yolks of 4 eggs well beaten- Fold in 1 cup pasitry flour, sifted three timies. Bake in large tin and split in two or bake in 2 layers. Filing 4 egg yolks well beaten- 1 3-4 cups milk, 3-4 cup sugar. Cook like custard nnd add 2 tables pons plain gelatin dissolved in a bt-tle cold wa ter. Let cool- Then add 1-2 pint cream whipp 1 and flavored with rum.
