Advised,
Teach your children to play games
and educate them with toys, de
cclared Mrs. Mlgnon Quaw, Bose
man, Mont., who addressed the
Americanization and Parent Teacher
section meeting at the Technical
High school Friday afternoon.
Games teach the child courage and
self reliance; the right toys will teach
thorn many things, she said. She
warned parents to prevent their chil
dren from what she termed "nervous
toys." These she said were small
playthings which strained the child's
sight and stressed his nerves.
"Play with your children," she ad
monished. "Then they will not tell
the stranger, ‘Gee my daddy's awful

Dr. J. M. Tatton, Omaha, spoke on

Eeon Smith, assistant superintendent
of Omaha schools, could suggest in
his discussion of "What to Do With
the Atypical Child," which he de

Health Education section.
"It Is up to the teacher to diagnose
the case of the atypical student and
to aid him In the small way which
she can. She must study him to find
