You've grown so strangely big ami tall And, "Who the heck Iws swiped my hat?
I scarcely know you, dear, at all. The game was hippy, beat 'em flat!"
Your voice is husky when you speak. I cannot rock or cuddle you,
A faintest down is on your cheek; Or comfort, as / used to do.
You swagger in with nonchalance I m only sure, dear, who you arc,
Demanding cash and grown-up pants, Because you've robbed the cooky jar.

Regal Effects to Be Achieved
by Milady’s Hairdresser* Now That France Has Sent
the Fascinating Transformation
NO end to the attractive effects to be achieved by Milady's hair dresser now that France has sent the bewitching new transformation—created
hair by hair with waving locks of a Just right length, there's an idea llstic quality in the beauty of the French hair piece. To be had in any color
or shade desired, in a texture of silken fineness, in a part that defies detection or in a pompadour with clever little bang cutting across the fore
head, there's no excuse for anyone to appear less than beautiful. It is real ly a revelation to have one of these exquisltrles placed upon one's head, for
never before that time will you fully renl.ze to what an extent does beauty d epend upon the loveliness of one's coiffure. Mr. Roberts of the Black and
White Room, Burgess-Nash, who himself thoroughly understands the most minute detail in the construction of the artistic transformation will gladly
show the transformations recently imported from France direct to his department. A beauty seeret—some of Omaha's youngest and fairest are this
very day and evening wearing with greatest effects in beauty transformations fitted by Mr. Roberts!

Spring Sports Flannels Prove
Fascinating Fabrics
THE Silk Shop, 1517 Douglas, presents fascinating fabric novelties for
sports wear. Chief In the charmful new effects for spring wear are the
soft sports flannels In checks, plaids and Roman stripes. 54 Inches wide,
they're $2.95 to $4.95. Backgrounds of soft beige are admirably decorated by
cross strtpings of brown, navy and green. Fully three-quarters of an Inch
are devoted to alternate blocks of black and white In one length displayed.
Of a dashing stylefulness is another piece of wide and narrow crossings of
navy and llp-stlck red in a plalded design on ground of tan. The Roman
striped color combinations are rrfoet happy. In one there's predominance
of blue achieved by wide stripes of blue between wide band* of brown, the
contrast afforded by small green and gold stripes grouped between. In
another flannel favoring the stripes of Rome there is a decided predominance
of gold. A flannel frock with novelty buttons and euede girdling, could
anything be more smart?
