The meeting of the Live Stock

was tho best ever held. Forty men

a fine banquet served by the Kind

Following the dinner, Mr. Newton

on organization. It was a real treat
to have Mr. Gaines with us on this

Mr. Chas. B. Steward of Red Cloud
followed this with a talk on our Fu

$2,217.40 CASH
These figures represent one day's (15 hours, to be
exact) business transacted by us Saturday, June 20th.
Records in the egg department show that we paid out
$412,40.. Cream records indicate that we purchased to
the extent of SH00.00 a total of S1212.40 paid out in a
single day. This should prove to any one that our tests
weights and prices are proving satisfactory to a large
per cent of the farmers in this vicinity, and as many
new names appear on our records each week we are
convinced that "satisfied customers are our best adver
tisers." A business conducted on an honest basis is
always successful.
Our CASH SALES for this day Groceries, Etc.
amounted 51,005.00. This makes the total of S2.217.40
Considering the short time we have been doing business
until just recently our grocery stock being limited
we feel that we have made a record that is not surpass
ed by any mercantile house in the city,
And while discussing this subject groceries we
wish to say that we have just received another large
consignment of groceries new, fresh goods. Carpenters
are busy remodelling our grocery department, which,
when completed will enable us to give our trade a much
better service in this department. Also remember our
goods are ALL MARKED IN PLAIN FIGURES, thus
enabling you to see at a glance just what each item on
your want list will cost you. You should inspect our
stock and get our prices it means a saving of 8 to you.
